My client are seeking a skilled Joiner to join their team, working on a variety of projects including the installation of wet rooms, adaptation kitchens, and general joinery works. The ideal candidate will have experience in PVC fitting and may possess some plumbing or multi-skilling abilities. This role requires a professional who can deliver quality craftsmanship and a customer-oriented service.

Day to Day of the role:

  • Install wet rooms and various types of kitchens as part of a team.
  • Perform joinery tasks such as fitting new doors, skirtings, and fencing.
  • Carry out first fix and second fix joinery works on repairs, maintenance, refurbishment projects, and new builds.
  • Set out hip roof designs and install PVC windows, doors, and trims.
  • Implement security measures for empty and vulnerable properties.
  • Liaise with other trades, tenants, and managers.
  • Work at heights using the necessary safety equipment and maintain vehicle stock levels.
  • Submit all worksheets and documents relating to the job within required timescales.
  • Occasionally perform Driver/Labourer duties as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 2 in Joinery or equivalent qualification (essential).
  • NVQ Level 3 in Joinery or willingness to work towards the qualification (essential).
  • Apprentice trained in Joinery (desirable).
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures in construction work (essential).
  • Ability and experience of working at height (essential).
  • Experience in the use of mobile and digital technology for receiving and completing work.
  • Current driving license and the ability to travel as necessary for the post (essential).
