The Interim Assistant Company Secretary within a leading FTSE listed client in the retail sector, will be responsible for assisting in corporate governance and company secretarial tasks. This position requires excellent knowledge of listed environments, corporate compliance and statutory governance. The role will be for 3-6 months.

Description
The Interim Assistant Company Secretary will join a thriving listed co-sec team and report directly into the Deputy Company Secretary for a period of 3-6 months. They will be responsible for:
- Assisting in corporate governance and compliance matters.
- Supporting the Group's subsidiary entities
- Ensuring company's compliance with legal corporate governance obligations and regulations.
- Assisting in the preparation of board meetings and minutes.
- Use of Blueprint/GEMs/Diligent Boardbooks
- Supporting the implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
- Maintaining statutory books and registers.
- Communicating with stakeholders and team members on governance matters.
Profile
A successful Interim Assistant Co-Sec PLC should have:
- Knowledge of corporate law and governance.
- Ideally CGI / ICSA qualified
- Must have listed experience
- Subsidiary management is key
- Experience managing co-sec databases like: blueprint / Diligent Boardbooks
- The ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- A proactive approach to work, with a strong focus on accuracy and detail.
