Join our clients leading engineering firm specialising in safety structures for UK infrastructure projects. We are seeking a dedicated Business Development Executive to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
A calm and resilient demeanour is needed for this Business Development Executive role as well as a love for analytics and reporting.
Responsibilities of the Business Development Executive:
- Research upcoming government projects related to road safety infrastructure.
- Gather information from databases, publications, and events.
- Document points of contact for projects.
- Maintain and update a leads database.
- Using CRM system, report lead viability to sales and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with sales to engage and convert leads.
- Monitor industry trends.
- Prepare reports on Business Development activities.
Required skills, experience and attributes:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in lead generation, business development, or sales support, preferably in engineering or construction.
- Strong research and analytical skills.
- Proficient with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
- Due to office location, you must drive.
