We have an exciting opportunity for a Pricing Analyst to join our client's Insurance Pricing Team. They are a leading organisation in the personal lines insurance market with ambitious growth plans. As a Pricing Analyst, you will play a crucial role in developing advanced analysis of insurance data. Utilising your mathematical and statistical skills, you will inform pricing decisions to maintain profitability while maximising growth. Your responsibilities will include:
- Running analyses to understand the drivers of trading performance.
- Proactively identifying pricing opportunities that deliver value to the business and customers.
- Presenting pricing insights to stakeholders from various business areas.
To excel in this role, you should thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment and possess strong prioritisation skills. You will be highly numerical, comfortable working with data, and genuinely curious about insurance pricing. As a strong communicator, you will build trust with stakeholders from different business areas and effectively translate complex problems into simple and actionable recommendations.
In addition to prioritising effectively and working well under pressure, it'd be good to see experience in insurance pricing or predictive modelling. Strong software skills, particularly in Excel, SQL, Radar, Emblem, Python or similar, would be a bonus.
