Salary: £43,912.80 (inclusive of 35% holiday bonus for 33 days per year; 25 vacation and 8 bank holidays)

Key Responsibilities:

Execute Preventive and Planned Maintenance: Plan and perform preventive maintenance on machines and equipment within the Heat Treatment department, focusing on mechanical, electrical, PLC, and refrigeration systems.

Data Collection and Analysis: Gather data from maintenance actions, analyze information to plan necessary replacements, and schedule machine part overhauls when feasible to reduce new part purchases.

Performance and Efficiency Enhancements: Identify and implement machine improvements to enhance performance and OEE, with a focus on finding and fixing root causes of breakdowns.

Maintenance Scheduling and Continuous Improvement: Coordinate maintenance schedules, generate 5 Why analyses, and engage in continuous improvement processes for operational effectiveness.

Kaizen and Cost-Saving Initiatives: Participate in Kaizen activities aimed at enhancing safety, environmental impact, and cost reduction across maintenance operations.

Backup Analyst Duties: Step into the analyst role as needed, supporting maintenance data interpretation and decision-making.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Completed Mechanical Level 4 Apprenticeship
  • Candidates to preferably have experience in a heat treat production environment working on high temperature carburising furnaces.
