Position: One-to-One Support Assistant
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalised support to individuals with a range of additional needs, including physical disabilities, learning disabilities, and mental health conditions.
- Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and mobility.
- Implement individual care plans and support strategies.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment.
- Promote independence and encourage participation in social and recreational activities.
- Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other team members.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, supporting individuals with diverse additional needs.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Patience, empathy, and a compassionate approach.
- Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in health and social care are desirable but not essential.
- Attributes: A positive attitude, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
