4c Executive is delighted to be working with an award-winning, family owned company for the appointment of a Group Sales Director. Our client is a leading provider of office furniture and design led workspace solutions across the UK & Ireland.

Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Group Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing a robust and region specific sales strategy in order to leverage and maximise growth across the Republic of Ireland and the UK. The Group Sales Director will oversee the management of key accounts alongside driving new business and leading and developing sales teams in Belfast, Glasgow, and Dublin.

A senior and credible sales leader, the Group Sales Director will promote a culture of innovation, high performance, and continuous learning, identifying areas for improvement within existing product lines whilst keeping up to date with market developments identifying and proposing opportunities for the company to enhance their products and services.

The successful candidate should also possess the following experience:

  • Significant experience in a senior sales leadership role with responsibility for developing and implementing robust sales strategies, generating profitable partnerships and ultimately delivering sustainable growth.
  • Track record of effectively leading, managing and developing a multi-faceted sales team, championing a high preforming mentality across the wider team, promoting a continuous improvement mindset, constantly delivering expectational customer service, driving sales and increasing market share.
  • Proven experience of building and maintaining strong and long lasting working relationships with customers and partners, successfully managing key accounts and delivering high retention rates.
  • Demonstrable successful experience in conducting thorough competitor analysis in terms of price, quality, and service coupled with significant experience of leading in-depth analysis of target markets, buying methods, and trends, utilizing data to advise on appropriate tactics and business models.

Desirable

  • Experience and/or knowledge of the furniture/fit out industry will be advantageous.
  • Experience working in a multi-region sales environment.
