Role Overview:
We are looking for caring and empathetic individuals to join our team as Carers, working with patients who have Learning Disabilities. You will play a crucial role in helping our patients live as independently as possible, supporting their daily activities, and promoting their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and feeding.
  • Support patients in their daily routines, encouraging independence and participation.
  • Monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being, reporting any changes to the appropriate team members.
  • Engage with patients in activities that promote social, physical, and emotional development.
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide person-centered care.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a care role, preferably working with individuals with Learning Disabilities.
  • A compassionate and patient approach to care.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with patients and their families.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
