Candidates with a strong background in retail, host, concierge or receptionist would be ideal for this new and exciting role.

This role will see you take ownership of the full reception / front of house function where you will ensure all visitors are welcomed, looked after and anticipate their requirements. In addition, the role will be supporting the Business Support Manager with a broad range of administrative tasks and supporting members of the executive team with diary planning, travel booking and ad-hoc support.

Duties & Responsibilities of the Front of House Coordinator:

  • Welcoming all visitors to HQ, making sure staff hosts are aware and notified of their arrivals
  • Dealing with any incoming calls in a professional manner, gathering information and acting as a gate keeper when required.
  • Diary management, travel bookings, ordering business lunches and supporting events preparation
  • Meeting room management, preparing meeting rooms for external visits
  • Office/kitchen stock replenishment. Ordering of key supplies for the kitchens and offices
  • Sort incoming post and deliver to the correct recipient
  • Hands on completion of laboratory management and office maintenance e.g. Washing of lab coats, cleaning, watering plants, setting up of meeting spaces
  • Working closely with the Business Support Manager to provide administrative support which include writing letters, drafting emails, preparation of documents, photocopying, filing and general tasks as required.

What you will need to succeed as Front of House Coordinator:

  • A customer facing background is essential, ideally coming from retail, host, concierge or reception.
  • Highly ambitious and have a hard-working attitude as there is potential to grow within the company.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Take ownership of your work and deliver quickly and accurately
  • Have a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills which you can adapt to be effective with visitors, callers and staff.
  • Proactive attitude and friendly nature who enjoys working with people and serving others
  • IT Literate
  • Business Admin qualification an advantage
