Domestic Couple, Paris

Our long-term clients are in search of a skilled and dedicated domestic couple to oversee and manage their luxurious residence, based in the prestigious 16th arrondissement of Paris. The ideal candidates will join a fully staffed team, including housekeepers, a chef, a butler, and nannies caring for the family's children. This role demands versatility and a proactive attitude to maintain seamless household operations.

Duties:

  • Housekeeping: Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance, ensuring the home remains immaculate and well-organised.
  • Laundry & Wardrobe Care: Handle laundry tasks such as washing, ironing, and caring for delicate fabrics. Manage wardrobe organization, including seasonal transitions.
  • Bedroom Service: Provide bed turn-down service.
  • Meal Service: Offer table service during family meals.
  • Travel Assistance: Aid with packing and unpacking for travel.
  • Pet Care: Take care of the family's two dogs, including walking and general care.
  • Silver Maintenance: Ensure silverware is polished and maintained.
  • Contractor Management: Coordinate with contractors and service providers to ensure high-quality work.
  • General Maintenance: Supervise and organise routine maintenance tasks around the property.
  • Inventory Control: Monitor and manage household supplies, ensuring timely replenishment.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate the household staff to ensure efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a domestic couple in a similar setting.
  • Fluency in French for at least one member of the couple.
  • Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Valid EU passport or the legal right to work in France.

Additional Information:

  • Accommodation: Separate living quarters near the family's home.
  • Work Schedule: 5 days a week, with Mondays and Tuesdays off when the family is present.
  • Salary: €70,000 to €85,000 net annually, negotiable based on experience.
  • Language Requirement: At least one member must speak fluent French.
  • Visa Requirement: Open to candidates with an EU passport or the legal right to work in France.
