Are you an experienced accounts assistant?
Are you looking for an all-round and varied generalist accounts position?
Attega is currently recruiting for a growing business group, which comprises several locations across the South.
For this role, you will join an established and busy finance team.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £26k depending on experience, plus access to a company car scheme, 22 days' holiday increasing with length of service and more!
Duties will include:
- Accurately and efficiently process incoming invoices,
- Handling Purchase and Sales Ledger,
- Communicating with vendors and suppliers regarding invoice-related queries,
- Preparing and processing payments,
- Reconciling supplier statements to ensure that all invoices and payments are accounted for, and no balances are outstanding,
- Assisting in preparing financial reporting information.
The ideal candidate:
- Must have previous accounts / finance experience.
- Will require good attention to detail and a meticulous approach to their work.
- Must have strong organisational skills.
- Needs good computer skills which must include competent use of MS programs.
- Must have the ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Will need to be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
