Since being acquired by a major bank, this company has thrived, repeatedly winning awards for its financial wellness programs. To support their global expansion and microservices platform, they're growing their internal Architecture Centre of Excellence, which designs and delivers software and solution architecture.
You will become a Solution Architect and take the lead in defining best practices and cutting-edge solutions for a renowned Fintech in the South of England. Forge the path for their delivery teams with innovative standards and guidelines. As a Solutions Architect, you will be performing several tasks but with the same end-goal in mind, enabling new products and features, mostly through the tech team.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering new platforms for end-user management, transform the backend architectures, be part of the cloud migration, drive FinOps initiatives, help teams reduce their operational costs and have some fun along the way for a reputable FinTech!
Their current tech stack
: Java, Microservices, AWS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Docker, RESTFul web services, Jenkins, Sonarqube to name a few areas.
What's needed?
- Background in Java & AWS
- Any Fintech / Banking or Payments background will be great for this position.
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory side - PCI-DSS, DORA, GDPR to a name a few.
- Experience creating event-driven designs utilizing microservice architecture
- Experienced in defining architectural processes, tech roadmaps & strategies with focus on Security, Scalability, Performance, cost efficiency & sustainability.
What can they do for you?
