Receptionist Role at a Law Firm in London

We are looking for a personable and professional Receptionist to join a prestigious boutique law firm in London. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in providing a personalised and welcoming experience for clients and visitors, while also efficiently managing a range of administrative tasks. As the first point of contact, you will play a key role in creating a positive impression of the firm. In addition to managing the front desk, you will assist with meeting room coordination, event preparation, and diary management. The firm offers a competitive benefits package, including private healthcare and a discretionary bonus. We welcome applicants with previous experience in a Front of House role within corporate or luxury settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Acting as the firm's Ambassador, warmly welcoming clients and visitors with professionalism and friendliness.
  • Managing incoming calls, screening, and directing inquiries with efficiency and care.
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and ensuring rooms are prepared to a high standard for client meetings.
  • Liaising with the firm's hospitality team to arrange refreshments and catering for meetings.
  • Supporting diary management for partners and directors, as well as scheduling appointments.
  • Assisting with general administrative duties such as photocopying, scanning, and managing post and couriers.
  • Monitoring and replenishing office supplies as needed.
  • Coordinating travel and accommodation arrangements for staff and VIP clients.
  • Providing support to senior staff with ad hoc administrative tasks.
  • Assisting in the preparation and organisation of firm events and meetings.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Front of House or Receptionist role, ideally in a corporate or boutique environment.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Confidence in handling high-profile clients with discretion and professionalism.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a busy setting.
  • A polished, professional telephone manner and presentation.
  • Ability to work effectively in a close-knit, team-oriented environment.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting the team and handling tasks as required.
