Join Our Team of Outstanding SEND Teaching Assistants – September Start
Are you a passionate and proactive individual looking to make a real difference in the lives of young people? At Engage Education, we're building a strong team of SEND and 1:1 Teaching Assistants to support primary-aged pupils across North West London – particularly in areas around Colindale, Hendon, and Kenton.
We're preparing now to meet the growing needs of our schools for September, and we're looking for committed, full-time staff who are ready to hit the ground running.
What We're Looking For:
You'll be working with children who require tailored support – whether that's helping a pupil manage their emotions, assisting someone with communication difficulties, or encouraging a child with sensory needs to engage confidently throughout the school day. No two days will be the same, and every day you'll be making a meaningful impact.
Our schools support pupils with a range of needs, and we're looking for Teaching Assistants who are:
- Proactive and adaptable – You enjoy a fast-paced environment and are always ready to get involved
- Compassionate and patient – You understand that every child is different and are committed to helping each one succeed
- Reliable and flexible – You're available full-time (Monday to Friday) from September and happy to travel across Barnet, Brent, and Harrow
It's a Bonus If You Have:
- Experience working in a school or with children and young people with additional needs
- A genuine interest in supporting pupils with diverse educational and emotional needs
Applications are encouraged from:
- Psychology and Drama degree graduates
- Aspiring Teachers, Support Workers and Counsellors/Therapists
- Those with medical/healthcare experience
- Candidates who have experience with personal care (Not essential)
- Youth Workers, Child Therapists, SEND support workers and anyone who has worked with vulnerable people or those with additional needs who is seeking a career change
Whether you have prior experience or are looking to start your career in SEND education, we'd love to hear from you. At Engage Education, we value your contribution and provide opportunities for professional development and ongoing support.
Apply now to be part of a passionate and dedicated team supporting schools this September.
