Passive Safety Technical Officer – 0901 - £18.01-27.00/hr PAYE (d.o.e)
Are you seeking a new challenge in the Bedfordshire area? Jonathan Lee Recruitment is helping a collaborative automotive company recruit a Passive Safety Technical Officer and the role comes with a rate of 18.01-27.00/hr PAYE (depending on experience).
As a Passive Safety Technical Officer, you will be responsible for the delivery of administration tasks to support the engineering team, management of databases and reporting of key milestones to management team.
In a typical week in this role, you will address the following tasks:
- Administration within the passive safety department
- Managing project milestones and deadlines, liaising with engineers and management to maintain scheduling is kept
- Tracking design notes, test parts procurement and management
- Managing crash test data database and producing reports with trends
- Crash test data processing including creating and issuing flash reports
- Test vehicle management, including creating transport and/or customs requests.
To apply for this Technical Officer role, you will need the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Fully proficient with MS Office & ability to adapt to new systems.
- Excellent organisational skills, highly self-motivated and driven, with high attention to detail
- Data management and reporting experience
- Proactive mindset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for discussing internally within the company and with external suppliers
- Understanding of vehicle passive safety systems or vehicle development/engineering would be desirable
- Ability to travel within Europe with a valid UK/European driving license
