This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Architect to join an expanding Design and Build contractor where you will take a leading role whilst joining a prestigious construction company who specialise in prime residential refurbishments and alterations within Central London.
Are you a fully qualified Architect with experience within the Residential industry? Are you looking for an opportunity to work on high end luxurious projects? Are you looking to run the design function of a growing company?
This expanding Design and Build company are specialist in high-end residential alterations and conversions in and around affluent areas of London like Kensington, Mayfair and Belgravia. They have a prestigious client base of high net worth individuals looking to make alterations such as extensions and loft conversions valuing up to £300K.
This company currently outsource their Design and due to expansion they're looking for an ambitious, talented Architect to help them bring the function in house to ensure they can offer a seamless service.
You will be working on a number of project at any given time responsible for overseeing contracts for the projects including tenders, contractor selection and administration creating the construction drawings to go along with them. As well ensuring quality is up to standard on site. Finally, amongst other responsibilities you will be leading meetings with client, contractors and colleagues to ensure projects run well and to standard.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will be an experienced Architect with a residential background working on extensions and conversion projects, who is interested in setting up a team whilst working on elegant projects.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a high end design and build contractor where you will help a growing company bring their Architecture in house with the future opportunity to grow and run a team.
The Role:
- Working on high-end Residential projects
- Working on Residential extensions, conversions and alterations
- Liaising with clients to understand brief and produce innovative design solutions.
- Using architectural software to produce drawing, submit planning and building applications
- Based in their office near Paddington and travel to sites in and around London
The Person:
- Senior Architect
- Experience working within the Residential industry
- Proficient in any Architectural software (Sketchup, ArchiCAD, autoCAD, REVIT)
- Commutable distance to their office near Padding
- Full UK drivers license
