Site Manager - Fit Out

Commercial Refurb & CAT A Fit Out

A £100m principal contractor with a strong order book for 2023 across the commercial, hotel and prime residential sectors has a requirement for a Site Manager.

Your management experience will be required for a £20m refurbishment and CAT A fit out in West London. Reporting to a Project Manager, you will be responsible for day to day management of the site and successful delivery of this interesting scheme. You will be supported by 2 Site Managers and an Assistant Site Manager on the project, which includes internal architecture, structural steel, recladding and fit out with the following duties:

  • Team management
  • Management of sub-contractors
  • Workload delegation and monitoring
  • Programming and Progress meetings
  • Problem Solving
  • Coordinate with design team
  • Full understanding on the drawings
  • Organise & chair weekly meetings
  • Deal with Purchase order forms
  • Quality Control
  • Liaising with all Clients & Contractors
  • Risk assessments and method statements
  • Solving technical issues on site
  • Enforcing health and safety policies
  • Project reporting and administration

Ideally, you will be able to demonstrate previous management experience on challenging and complex commercial refurbishments. The following experience and attributes will be ideal:

  • Good understanding of design detail
  • Trade or Degree qualified
  • Strong work ethic
  • Passionate about delivering quality
