£16.72 Per Hour / 39 Hours a week
We are looking for a motivated Depot Foreman to join a market leading company. Reporting directly to the site Managers you will be a key member in ensuring customer products are kept running. You will be involved in some aspects of planned and reactive maintenance within their operation. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team. Reporting Line: Reports to the Depot Manager.

Overall Responsibility: Manages day-to-day operations of a busy pump/plant hire depot.

Technical Knowledge:

Understanding of diesel-powered plant equipment.

Some knowledge of hydraulics.

Technical Skills:
-
Fault finding.
-
Overseeing routine maintenance.
-
Conducting basic engineering work.
-
Team Supervision:
-
Supervises service engineers, electricians, and drivers.

Ensures compliance with Health & Safety requirements.

Administrative Duties:
-
Maintains depot administration and plant equipment documentation.

Communication:
-
Engages with customers both on-site and via telephone.

Interacts with colleagues within the Company Group.

Availability: Participates in an out-of-hours call-out system, responding to customer requests or breakdowns 24/7.

Driving Requirement: Must have a full driving license.
