Design & Development Engineer
Salary - £25,000
Location - Berkshire
We're supporting a long-established design & manufacturer of electrical components and fittings throughout the UK, but also globally. They support clients across the following sectors Defence, Aerospace, Naval, Railroad and Automation to name a few.
Due to a high demand in their design services, they're now looking for a motivated Design & Development Engineer graduate to support their ongoing growth.
Responsibilities, but are not limited to
- Working out design specifications for products
- Designing and testing prototypes
- Sourcing product requirements by communicating with clients
- Drawing up plans
- Budgeting for a design
- Writing technical reports that show your data findings
- Making models to help with product testing
- Changing previous designs to make them better
Experiences required
- Competent SolidWorks
- Able to create detailed technical drawing packs for manufacture
- Educated to degree level within Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Able to interpret schematics is advantageous

42hrs P/W | Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5pm | Friday 8:30am - 4:15pm | Pension | Holiday
