We have over 150 branches across England and Wales as well as our Support Office in Alcester, Warwickshire. We're now looking for a Safeguarding Lead to join our team in Alcester.
The Safeguarding Lead will be responsible for implementing operational excellence across the business that will positively impact our customers through exceptional carers and teams. Continually deliver outstanding customer care and service in a market-leading home care organization by an open, transparent and learning culture.
Main Responsibilities
- Continually develop and deliver a lesson learnt and enhancement plan to drive continual improvement on the delivery of care to our customers, through a proactive communication internal cascade which has identified trends and themes outlining best practise.
- Proactive approach to audit, regulator feedback, customer and carer voice for our customers receiving care. Produce recommendations and deliver agreed actions to improve national performance through Registered Managers.
- Regularly identify and report on all root-cause insights impacting customers, focused on safeguarding.
- Develop quality assurance processes and assess the outputs to drive quality improvements.
- Contribute to the development of policies and protocols that facilitate safe, effective and timely information sharing processes, reflecting current legislation and national policy.
About You
To be successful in this role you'll need to have a relevant safeguarding qualification or professional training (such as NSPCC or Level 3/4 Safeguarding) and extensive knowledge of UK safeguarding laws. Experience in the care sector is essential, along with a passion for delivering person-centered care. You must be energetic, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and collaboratively with the team. Strong digital and technology skills are required, as is the ability to multi-task, prioritise, and work effectively under pressure.
