Newstaff Employment are seeking a dedicated and talented Chef de Partie to join our dynamic kitchen in Swanton Morley, Norfolk, NR20.

£16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes within your section according to the restaurant's standards.
  • Manage and train junior kitchen staff, including commis chefs and apprentices.
  • Ensure the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of your section.
  • Assist in developing new menu items, contributing innovative ideas and feedback.
  • Monitor and control stock levels, reducing wastage and ensuring freshness.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and health and safety standards at all times.
  • Support the kitchen team in delivering a consistent, top-quality dining experience.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen environment.
  • A strong passion for food and a desire to learn and develop new skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of culinary excellence.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent is desirable.
