Field Sales Manager (Chemical Manufacturing)

Coventry / Remote - Midlands

£40,000 Negotiable (OTE YR1: Up to £50,000) + £5k car allowance or EV scheme + training + excellent progression + uncapped commission + 25 days holiday

Do you have field sales experience, with a background in technical / engineering, looking for a role in which you will receive extensive training and the opportunity for potential long term progression, whilst bringing on new clients in diverse markets such as Defence, Rail, Industrial, Aerospace and Automotive, where you will play a key role in a rapidly growing company which has been established for over 100 years?

Are you looking to boost your earnings with generous commission scheme which is based on percentage of sales, meaning your earnings will increase year on year, with the potential for long term ongoing progression, as the company continues to rapidly expand, with the help of your skills and expertise?

On offer is the opportunity to step into a versatile role, where you will add direct value to a forward-thinking company which manufacturers a range of leading products with many applications in different industries. You will work autonomously, planning your diary and meeting with clients across the Midlands. Your focus will be split between new business meetings and key account management, with a focus on new opportunities. You will be based remotely in the Midlands, travelling out to clients in the area 3-4 days a week, working from home 1-2 days a week.

The Role:

  • Meet with existing clients face to face, completing appraisals, with the objective of creating long-term business relationships
  • Plan your diary; booking in meetings with existing and potential clients
  • Source new business within the North, across a varied range of industries and sectors
  • Complete product trials with clients, working closely with the technical team to provide the most relevant product information
  • Attend trade shows, exhibitions and networking events to drive new business activities
  • Prepare and present proposals for new and existing clients

The Person:

  • Field Sales experience
  • Technical / Engineering background
  • Based anywhere in the Midlands
  • Happy to travel to client sites 3 days a week, with some overnight stays
