The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. This full-time role will involve working across all primary year groups, supporting teachers in delivering high-quality education to our students. The successful candidate will be flexible, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive and stimulating learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons across all primary year groups.
  • Provide individual and group support to students, helping them to achieve their learning goals.
  • Support the emotional and social development of students, ensuring a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Assist in the preparation of classroom materials and resources.
  • Work closely with teachers and other staff members to monitor and assess student progress.
  • Supervise and support students during break times, lunchtime, and other activities as required.
  • Maintain a positive and proactive approach to managing student behaviour in line with school policies.

About You:

  • Experience: Previous experience working with primary-aged children, either in a school or similar setting, is highly desirable.
  • Qualifications: A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent) is preferred but not essential. A willingness to undertake further training is essential.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for working with children and helping them to succeed.
  • Flexibility: The ability to adapt to the needs of different year groups and work as part of a collaborative team.
