Main Responsibilities:
- Teach KS1/KS2 students in line with the National Curriculum in a way that is stimulating, thought-provoking and fascinating.
- Make sure students are growing academically and emotionally.
- Have high expectations of behaviour and attainment.
- Show proficiency in monitoring and assessment.
- Have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Skills and qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (or QTS anticipated)
- Eligibility to work in UK
- Enhanced DBS on update service (Willing to get one)
- Must provide 2 professional references
- Recent, fruitful experience in a classroom environment dealing with and/or instructing students with special education needs.
- Proven ability to demonstrate excellent classroom practice.
- Proven ability to work successfully as part of a staff team.
- Evidence of knowing how to evaluate one's own strengths and weaknesses.
- Evidence of effective partnership working with parents and carers.
- Familiarity with the most recent curricular advancements and best practices in both special and mainstream primary education.
- Knowledge of child development.
