Marketing Executive

We are working on an excellent opportunity within a very friendly, yet professional Marketing team in beautiful surroundings!

My client, a large, well-established retail and property organisation, is seeking a Marketing Executive/Administrator within a temporary capacity, offering the possibility of a temp to perm conversion.

This is initially a 6-to-8-week temporary booking, based Monday to Friday in their prestigious and modern Central London offices.

My client is offering an immediate interview and start for the right candidate to join their fun and interesting Marketing division.

Duties within the role will require the successful candidate to:

  • Oversee the responsibility to create and maintain excellent relations with retail tenants regarding marketing needs and projects.
  • Provide support to retail customers/tenants, encouraging them to utilise marketing tools and initiatives to raise individual brand awareness and spend.
  • Assist with all aspects of events and projects.
  • Be present and act as ambassador at assigned events and projects when needed.
  • Oversee full correspondence and communication for intra company/client manifestos, to include emails, letters and reporting on marketing initiatives. You will also be required to liaise with tenants, the public, charitable organisations and external marketing agencies and their suppliers.
  • Manage and maintain digital filing and reporting systems.
  • Manage the department's related finance administration to include raising purchase orders and maintaining accurate budgets.
  • Ensure that posters/marketing collateral and window displays are in line with marketing strategies and that digital channels are maintained and are up-to-date with current event information.
  • Collate and record related press and media clippings/ listings and advertisements.
  • Attend all required internal and external meetings.
  • Maintain effective communication and provide support between PR/Marketing and Management teams.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Marketing team and Director of Marketing.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • Ideally a minimum of 12 months' experience in an administrative role.
  • A keen interest in retail marketing.
  • Proven experience of working within a business or office environment and within the events, and/or entertainment sector.
  • Excellent organisational skills are required.
  • Proven ability of effectively managing multiple tasks, meeting deadlines and to work with limited supervision.
  • Excellent attention to detail, coupled with excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Experience and sound knowledge of Microsoft based computer packages.

The successful candidate should be a proven team player with a flexible, enthusiastic and 'can-do' attitude, who shows initiative and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

This is a full time, office based role, set as Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:30 with occasional attendance at events outside of core hours.
