Job Title: Warehouse Operative / HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Margate
Contract: Temporary to permanent
Salary: £13-£14 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday 5am-1pm

Duties:
- 80% warehouse duties and 20% HGV driving.
- Driving a HGV lorry, moving products from one site to another.
- Ensure the proper storage of ingredients and goods, following our company procedures and guidelines, maintaining stock rotation and batch coding. First in, first out (FIFO).
- Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing materials, ensuring everything is properly documented and traceable following our company procedures and guidelines.
- Collaborate with the warehouse manager/supervisor to assess production runs, ensuring orders are completed and stock is built.
- Take pride in collating orders for customers or transporting them to a secondary cold store, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Be a part of the packaging and quality control procedures, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards.
- Conducting regular stock taking activities, maintaining accurate inventory levels.
- Create a clean and organised storage area, ensuring all materials are stored in their appropriate locations.
- Embrace a safe working environment by following company health and safety guidelines.

- Previous warehouse experience required.
- You have have a valid driving licence and HGV class 2 licence.
- Counterbalance licence is desirable.
- Must be comfortable working in a coldstore environment.
