The team at NET Professional are proud to be partnering with a rapidly growing, innovative business operating in the automotive and transport industry, to assist them on their search for a Head of Sales to work within the Weybridge area. With several years of success behind it, this business prides itself on offering an extensive range of automotive solutions covering queries relating to net-zero emissions, vehicle purchasing, vehicle hire, refurbishment and used & second hand purchasing of vehicles. The business has also branched into recreational vehicle solutions as well.

The position holder will integrate within the team at a crucial point within the business' history, whereupon it is motivated and focused on the future, aiming to develop a comprehensive sales approach that will enable further success and expansion in human resources and service delivery. The Head of Sales will spearhead this approach, working collaboratively with senior management and internal teams to develop and execute strong sales strategies across the country to provide excellent ROI, meet and exceed KPIs, and allow the business to develop its solutions into further business areas.

Your Role and Responsibilities

While in this position your duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Creating and developing cohesive strategies and sales plans aimed at achieving business goals
  • Preparing sales and financial forecasts and KPI reporting
  • Attending meetings and being an active part of senior leadership
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of the previously planned strategies
  • Building excellent working relationships with suppliers, partners, internal teams and of course customers
  • Utilising business development skills to expand the customer base, acquiring new customers and seeking opportunities with existing ones
  • Collaborating cross functionally with internal teams, including finance and marketing to ensure a synchronised business approach
  • Setting out clear objectives for the team by highlighting minimum lead and sales requirements, ensuring that measurable strategies to monitor progress are in place
  • Monitoring the sales pipeline wherever possible

What you will need to Apply:

For this invigorating position, applicants must have a strong history working within sales or business development roles and be currently working within a Head of Sales position, running a team of salespeople, creating sales plans and advising on strategies. The company are also very keen for applicants to possess several years' experience working within the automotive or transport industries, in order to have gained industry related knowledge. Of course, applicants must have exceptional communication abilities and successful management skills when working with teams of all sizes, both in person and remotely. A grounded commercial acumen will be vital in operating as a member of senior leadership, to advise and promote the business accelerating forwards and expanding.

What you will get in Return:

The successful candidate who will operate within this role will be entitled to a potential starting salary of up £80,000, depending on relevant experience, knowledge and industry exposure. This will also accompany a strong peripheral package including competitive holiday and pension, other incentives include social and teambuilding events as well as a company vehicle. Alongside these there will be a generous bonus of at least 30%, taking the overall package up to over £100,000 potentially, and admission into an additional scheme, available after 12 months of service, whereupon every employee becomes a part owner of the company, providing attractive monetary rewards as a result.

Due to the growing nature of this business and its dedication to ensuring employees are motivated, happy and well-looked after, there will be fantastic opportunities to progression within this role, with the position holder moving into a Sales Director role, after a predicted 18 months. Alongside this there will be ample opportunity to take personal development training opportunities to ensure skills and abilities are maintained. Moreover, this role is hybrid in capacity, with the position holder expected to be in the office environment for 2-3 days a week and rest spent from home or out in the field with the sales team.
