Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (Dependant on experience)

Location: Maidenhead

Hours: Monday - Friday (7.30am - 5.00pm)

Position Overview:

Our client is seeking an experienced, dynamic, and organised Parts Manager to join their growing team. For this position, they're seeking a parts Manager with proven experience within the role or similar position, ideally within either the agriculture or plant machinery industry sectors.

Position Duties:

  • Maintain optimal stock levels of spare parts, including ordering new parts, managing stock rotation, and minimising obsolete stock.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and cycle counts to ensure the accuracy of stock records.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers, negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and ensure the quality of parts.
  • Place orders for parts with suppliers, track delivery schedules, and manage back-orders.
  • Monitor and control the costs of parts by sourcing competitively and minimising wastage.
  • Provide technical support and advice to both internal and external customers regarding parts and availability.
  • Continuously review and improve parts management processes to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Ensure that all parts handling and storage procedures comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Collaborate with the workshop and service teams to ensure timely availability of parts for machinery repairs and maintenance.
