Credit Controller to a small, busy and personable team, this position is paying an annual salary of £40,000. Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9.00am - 5.00pm.
We are looking for a Credit controller, for a construction-based company.
Duties:
- Check credit reports on potential and existing accounts
- Report on age of debt
- Regularly review and update existing credit limits and payment terms offered
- Ensure customer payments are received in accordance with account terms
- Chase overdue accounts via telephone, email and letter
- Check and code BACS remittance advices received
- Bookkeeping
- Reconcile customer accounts
- Maintain accurate customer contact details
- Review and forward monthly statements
- Liaise with internal and external parties to resolve outstanding invoice issues
- Begin the process of legal proceedings and repossession of goods
- Any other ad hoc duties required

Experience required:
- Qualification in AAT Level 2 of 3
- Bookkeeping
- Multilingual - German speaking would be advantageous
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to organise a busy and varied workload, remain calm under pressure, and proactive in approach to tasks
- PC literate with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook skills
