Sewell Wallis are working with an extremely successful, stable and reputable business who are based near Rothwell to find an experienced Management Accountant to join their team.

The business operate across the UK and have experienced consistent growth year on year. As there are exciting projects and plans in the pipeline, it's a great time to join them.

They are looking for someone who has strong management accounts experience who is comfortable and confident with managing and mentoring a small team.

What will you be doing?

  • Management accounts prep; balance sheet, monthly P&L, cash flow statements etc.
  • Revenue recognition.
  • Financial reporting and analysis.
  • Reconciliations.
  • Producing and presenting the commentary for management.
  • Business partnering with various areas of the company.
  • Budgeting and forecasting.
  • Support the annual audit.
  • Managing a small team and carrying out 1-2-1s and annual reviews.

What skills are we looking for?

  • QBE or part-qualified CIMA/ ACCA.
  • Proven end-to-end management accounts experience.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience.
  • Strong Excel skills.
  • A team player.
  • Someone who is a keen problem solver.
