About Us:
We are looking for a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to manage the Speech and Language Therapy strategy at two SEN School in Coulsdon and Crawley. The role is part-time (2 days/ week), 1 day at each site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Be able to offer a programme of support.
- Working collaboratively with team members.
- Help a small group of pupils who need access to qualified SALT
- Directing SALT assistants and TAs to support strategies in class
- Managing training of staff to meet pupil demands who have low to medium needs
- Be optimistic, hardworking, enthusiastic and creative.
- Provide feedback to pupils in relation to their progress and achievement.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Speech and Language Degree or relevant qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience working as a Speech and Language Therapist
- Knowledge: Understanding of supporting SEN pupils
