Robert Half is proud to be partnering with a market leading manufacturing company based in Worsley in its search for a management Accountant.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
- Develop and maintain financial processes to support strategic initiatives.
- Conduct variance analysis and identified key financial drivers.
- Prepare and present detailed financial forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans.
- Accurately record and manage all sales invoices in the accounting system.
- Record and verify purchase invoices to maintain up-to-date accounts payable records.
- Prepare and file VAT returns for all entities within the group in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.
- Compile and analyse financial information to prepare monthly management accounts.
- Generate and process invoices for clients and ensure timely follow-up on outstanding payments.
- Support the completion of statutory audits and ensure compliance with all audit requirements.
- Manage and process all payments, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
Experience & Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
