ER / HR Advisor

We are really excited to be working with this highly respected organisation, that are extremely well known in their industry and are also a fab employer! This role has come at a time of exciting growth for them and the HR Director is really excited to be bringing this person on board as their "right hand" person!

They are an extremely passionate and people focused business and the ethos of the HR team is what feeds through to the rest of the organisation - so finding the right person for this role is really crucial.

We are looking for a "visible" HR candidate, that has a genuine passion for people, with a commercial approach and the ability to get the balance right between the business needs and people wellness. There will be a focus on employee relations and we are looking for someone who has experience in this area and is able to hit the ground running and improve processes and procedures along the way. Equally, there will be lots of other HR projects / generalist work for you to get involved in when the ER cases are low.

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the HRD with all areas of HR
  • Leading on ER cases and HR queries
  • Proactively working to reduce ER cases
  • Liaising with ACAS for early conciliations
  • Supporting on employment tribunal work where required.
  • Providing advice and guidance to employees and line managers on issues relating to employment issues.
  • HR Project work
  • Create and implement new processes, policies and procedures that contributes to the ongoing success of the business
  • Become a champion in everything people, culture and wellbeing
  • Support Managers to handle grievances
  • Deliver workshops to Managers as needed, to enhance their capability to effectively manage employee relations issues in their teams

This is a fast faced role, in a dynamic environment - and we are looking for someone who wants to come in and make the role their own. You must be ambitious, hands on and enjoy seeing projects through from start to finish.
