About the Role:

We are looking to employ a Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team, to monitor and manage inventories with 3rd party warehouses as well as manage the logistics of imported products with different hauliers in line with our forecasted customer demands.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Inventory Control & Management

  • Stock reconciliation between 3rd party warehouses and our ERP system (JD Edwards)

  • Building good working relationships with our 3rd party warehouses

  • Keep wider business informed of any potential stock shortages due to supplier delays

  • Purchase Planning

  • Ensure correct level of stock is available to cover customer demand according to their requirements/contracts, with relevant input from the Sales Managers and Sales and Operations Process, as appropriate.

  • Transport Planning

  • Arrange Transport from both UK and EU suppliers according to Customer demand and supplier availability.

  • General

  • Purchase and Sales Order Processing

  • Checking invoices of 3rd parties

  • Any further supply chain tasks required to support the business

Qualification, Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in stock management (preferably in food manufacturing)
  • Understanding of the Supply Chain from Production to Delivery
  • Experience in J D Edwards in a Supply Chain Environment would be advantageous
  • Experience in Logistics both in the UK and EU, with an understanding of importation documents
  • Good level of Excel skills - formulas and formatting
  • Ability to think logically
  • Able to prioritise tasks
