Job Purpose :

The role sits at the heart of Finance, mining through large volumes of data and presenting patterns and results in a manner understandable by both Finance and non-Finance audiences. The role plays a pivotle part in the strategy of the business and decision making.

The business has plans for growth and expansion, both organically and via Acquisitions, which will make this role ever more critical in shaping scenarios and strategies to plan our growth and analyse past decisions.

Key deliverables will be:

Building a Financial model to analyse internal historic and forecast financial data, with flexibility to perform scenario analysis.

  • Being pro-active in researching key geopolitical matters around the world and assessing their impact on travel from Asia & Latin America to Europe and Morrocco.
  • Producing and maintaining budgets and rolling forecasts, updated for Actuals as they arrive.
  • Utilising PowerBI to build meaningful dashboard to Senior Management Team and the Board, highlighting key metrics.
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

Duties & Responsibilities

Provide management reports analysing trading performances across entities, offices, regions, cost centres, departments, and multiple other categories and metrics.

  • Leading the annual budgeting and monthly forecasting processes
  • Identify opportunities for efficiencies across the organisation.
  • Remaining aware of key global matters affecting travel and VOSAIO specifically, such travel bans, countries levying visa costs, natural disasters, local elections, changes in sales and corporate tax rates, etc.
  • Develop a financial model and PowerBI dashboards to help management understand past performances against our Budget and play out the impact of multiple strategies.
  • Provide any ad-hoc support to the CFO and CEO.

Essential Skills / Experience

A solid understanding of Financial Statements (reading and analysing all aspects of a P&L, Balance sheet, Cashflow) - preferably a qualified accountant, but not essential.

  • The ability to build a Financial Model.
  • The ability to build a PowerBI Dashboard.
  • Degree level qualification
  • 2+ years of experience within Finance department in a similar role
  • Excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills with the confidence to presenting data to Senior Management Team and the Board.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team working skills and a friendly approachable character.
  • Must have a high level of integrity and the humbleness to be open when mistakes are made.
  • Determined to deliver accurate results within deadline.
  • Must have strong organisational and time management skills and be able to effectively handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Requires close attention to detail, ability to identify issues and implement processes to prevent errors.
  • Must be collaborative and be able to work in a team-based environment as well as on his/her own initiative and be ''hands-on''.

Other Information

Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK and be able to travel to our Office in W6 9AR when necessary.
