Occupational Health Technician
4 days per week (Monday to Thursday)

My client are seeking an Occupation health Technician and are welcoming applications from Health Care Assistant. This role is pivotal in delivering a high-quality Occupational Health Service to Gloucestershire County Council employees and other key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct Health MOTs for council staff.
- Manage health screening and health surveillance programs for key clients.
- Perform technical tasks such as health surveillance assessments under the supervision of an NMC registered Occupational Health & Wellbeing Advisor.
- Participate and actively contribute to health and wellbeing initiatives within the organisation.
- Handle and lift clinical equipment as required.
- Comply with the Data Protection Act and the Council's Codes of Conduct/Policies, including those for accessing personal/sensitive data.
- Work independently, take initiative, and collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Potential site visits may be required.
Requirements:
- Experience in customer care within a health-based role.
- Proficiency in a healthcare setting.
- Good IT skills.
- Supervision skills are desirable.
- Adherence to data protection and confidentiality protocols.
- Ability to manage clinical equipment safely.
