We are working with a great post 16 education establishment who are seeking an ongoing teacher to support until Christmas.
SEND (Performing Arts)
- Location: South East London
- Job Type: 37 hours per week (term time only)
- Contract Duration: Ongoing Temp
- Salary: £23.11ph Including holiday pay
Day-to-day of the role of the Performing Arts Lecturer :
- Deliver engaging and inclusive Performing Arts lessons to students with varying degrees of SEND needs.
- Manage and oversee a small performing arts programme, guiding learners towards broader college pathways and employment within the performing arts field.
- Conduct EHCP annual reviews and consultations with local authorities, or demonstrate a willingness to develop these skills.
- Utilise strong organisational and IT skills to maintain accurate records and manage administrative tasks effectively.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the educational experience and foster a supportive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications for the Performing Arts :
- Full teaching qualification.
- Specialism in the Performing Arts industry.
- Proven experience in supporting learners with SEND.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of motivating and inspiring students and colleagues.
- Strong organisational and IT skills.
- DBS on the update service or to be prepared to apply for a new one
