Shifts: Days and Nights Available
Hours: 42 hours per week (Paid Breaks & Handover)
Pay Rate: £12.25 per hour
Howard Finley Care are looking for a Senior Care Assistant to join our clients dedicated team in a well-established nursing home in Newcastle Upon Tyne. If you are passionate about providing high-quality care and looking to take the next step in your career, this is the perfect opportunity for you!
**Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and professional care to residents, ensuring their needs are met with dignity and respect.
- Lead and support the care team, ensuring effective communication and high standards of care.
- Administer medication and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Assist with personal care, meal times, and other daily activities.
- Conduct handovers between shifts, ensuring the continuity of care.
**Requirements:
- Experience: Previous experience as a Senior Care Assistant is essential.
- Qualification: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- A caring, empathetic, and responsible attitude with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work both day and night shifts, as needed.
