Apprenticeship Assessor/Skills Coach - Financial Services - Fully Remote

Pertemps Work-Based Learning is proud to partner with a leading training provider delivering apprenticeship programmes within the Financial Services sector. Due to a period of growth, they are seeking to recruit a Financial Services Assessor.

As part of the delivery team, the Assessor will work directly with learners, supporting them through to End Point Assessment (EPA). This is a fully remote role, with all learner interactions conducted via Microsoft Teams.

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum

Remote, Flexible Working, with an early finish at 2pm on Fridays

Holidays: 24 days plus bank holidays, rising to 27 days

Key Responsibilities for the Apprenticeship Assessor/Skills Coach:

Develop strong relationships with learners to support their progression towards EPA

Collaborate closely with tutors

Set, mark, and assess learners' work, ensuring it meets the required standards for their qualification

Monitor, evaluate, and improve your workload to meet deadlines and targets, ensuring learners have an exceptional experience

Manage your diary efficiently, maintaining regular contact with learners

Keep up to date with quality frameworks, policies, and procedures, adhering to high standards in all assessment practices

Skills, Experience, and Qualifications Required:

Assessor's Award (A1, TAQA, CAVA, or equivalent)

Experience in assessment and a thorough understanding of End Point Assessment criteria

Strong IT skills, with proficiency in e-portfolios and online learning platforms

Experience assessing apprenticeship learners to Level 4, ideally in professional services apprenticeships such as Business Administration, Leadership, and Management

Knowledge or experience in Financial Services, Banking, or Accounting is highly desirable

Experience using remote coaching platforms such as Microsoft Teams is essential

A positive, engaging personality to motivate learners
