Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant eager to embrace a new challenge and support pupils with additional needs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? Academics is seeking a dedicated full-time Learning Support Assistant to join a vibrant primary school in Dagenham. This long-term position starts on 9th September 2024, assisting a pupil entering reception. Apply by midday on Wednesday, 4th September 2024.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Recent experience working within the borough of Barking and Dagenham, with knowledge of referral processes and CAMHS.
- Experience in EYFS and personal care is preferred but not essential.
- Proven track record of supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Possession of a valid Child Workforce DBS (preferably registered on the update service).
- Availability of two recent school-based references.
- Legal right to work in the UK.

Position Details:
