Job Role: Workshop Engineer
Location: Crick, Northamptonshire
Salary: £30,000-£31,000 DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday 08.00-16.00 + Overtime @ 1.5x

The client:
Interaction have partnered with a rapidly expanding, rewarding and innovate organisation based in Crick to support the growth of their engineering team. Due to continuous growth, we are looking for a skilled electromechanical engineer interested in learning, developing and progressing within the industrial cleaning machinery sector to join the workshop team in Crick.

The Duties:
- To carry out electrical, electronic, mechanical fault finding and repairs on industrial cleaning equipment, IG Engines (Petrol, Diesel, LPG).
- Refurbishing/repurposing industrial cleaning machinery, involving a full strip-down assessment of the machine including its drive, hydraulic and electrical systems, and a rebuild whilst replacing any parts as required.
- To diagnose and calibrate the machines using the supplied diagnostic equipment.
- The use of manual hand tools (Spanners, Screwdrivers), electrical hand tools (powered drills, grinders), lifting equipment (lifting slangs, hoists etc), Hot working tools (Blowtorch, heat guns).
- To manage your time effectively to ensure work is carried out to a high standard in a timely manner.
- Update job reports and order parts when necessary whilst dealing with customer queries efficiently and effectively.
- Ensure Health & Safety Procedures are followed.
The Requirements:
- Electrical, Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair & service experience would be advantageous.
- A good level of electrical or mechanical knowledge, similar roles could include plant engineer, maintenance engineer, hydraulic engineer, pneumatic engineer, mechanical fitter.
- Relevant qualifications NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering- not essential but would be an advantage.
- Experience using electrical & mechanical tools.
- Previous experience as a mechanical, electrical or site based engineer. Any experience surrounding Industrial Batteries, IC Engines or Industrial floor cleaning would be advantageous.
- Full UK Drivers License
