Our client is a world leading company based in Cambridge that owns £3 billion worth of assets which is built up of commercial and heritage estates across the region. You will play a key role in providing electrical and mechanical support to the business providing maintenance and repair work across the building. This includes work on generators, air conditioning units, chiller water systems and fire suppression equipment.
This role would suit an experienced electrical engineer who has experience working on commercial or industrial buildings carrying out general serving, maintenance and repair work.
What's involved for the Building Services Engineer:-
- Work as part of the building services maintenance team carry out site maintenance and repair work
- Carry out electrical fault finding and diagnostics
- Work on generators, air conditioning units, cooling towers, pumps, fire detection and suppression systems.
What you'll need:-
- Experience in building management services, or electrical engineer.
- 17th or 18th edition wiring regulations
- C&G 2391 inspection and testing
- Electrical qualification relevant to building services (IDEAL)
- IOSH or equivalent ideal but not essential
- Good communication skills
- Ability to read schematic wiring diagrams
- Fault finding and diagnostics
