About The Job:

Requirements:

  • Experience in credit control and accounts receivable within a large business.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables).
  • Numerical skills and understanding of accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with VAT regulations.
  • Proactive, flexible, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
  • Knowledge of SAP is preferred.

Key Internal and External Relationships:

  • Senior Sales & General Management.
  • GL Accountants, Finance Managers, Financial Controllers, and Business Partners.
  • Customers, banks, and credit agencies.
  • Internal and External Auditors.

Impact and Scope:

  • Working closely with senior management and building strong relationships.
  • Dealing with challenging customers reluctant to pay invoices.
  • Ensuring a positive working environment within the SSC and wider finance team.
  • Collaborating with Internal/External Auditors and key internal business partners.

Requirements:

?? Previous experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.

?? Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanour.

?? Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively.

?? Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

?? Familiarity with CRM systems and the ability to quickly learn new software.

?? Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and composure.

?? A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help customers.
