Electrical Assembly Technician required for my client based in Hitchin who worked within the automated solutions of the engineering industry.
The successful electrical assembly technician will be using a variety of tools and equipment, working across various areas of the company's production on both electrical assembly boards and circuit boards.
Electrical Assembly Technician Position Overview
- Work on electrical assembly boards.
- Work on circuit boards.
- Soldering work on companies' products.
- Maintain inventory of product and parts in work stations.
- Perform quality work checks to ensure the product meets quality standards.
- Identify product defects and complete appropriate documentation when defects are identified.
- Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes.
- Reporting to the department team lead and operations director.
Electrical Assembly Technician Position Requirement
- Experience working in an assembly technician role.
- Experience of electrical assembly boards and circuit boards is beneficial.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools.
- Enthusiasm and interest in engineering and manufacturing.
- Knowledge of materials, ability to distinguish types.
- Previous experience in manufacturing/ engineering environment advantageous.
- Based within a commutable distance of Kimpton, Hitchin.
Electrical Assembly Technician Position Remuneration
- Salary - £20,000 to £30,000 - dependent upon experience, skill and qualifications.
- Full time position - Monday to Friday.
- 25 Days Holiday, plus bank holidays.
- Pension Scheme. 8% contribution from company.
