Introduction:
Our client, a leading software development company based in Cork, Ireland is seeking to hire a skilled and experienced Test Engineer on contract. The successful candidate will work with our dynamic team of developers and engineers to develop cutting-edge solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
Skills:
The ideal candidate should possess expertise across several key areas including but not limited to;
Test Automation:
Experience with automation tools like Jest, Cypress is mandatory.
API Testing:
Should be able to create automated tests for RESTful APIs using any tooling such as RestAssured etc.
UI testing :
Ability perform UI web application testing involving cross browser compatibility issues , responsive design concerns .
Responsibilities :
- Develop/execute/maintain integration/system/regression/performance/load/stress test suites covering all possible scenarios.
- Work closely with other members of the engineering team throughout product lifecycle from ideation through release.
