Macmillan Davies are assisting a large retail business as they look to attract a specialist HR Change Manager.

Supporting the existing People Partnering team, we are seeking an experienced People Change Manager to support and spearhead on pivotal change projects, ensuring seamless integration and success within stipulated time lines and budgets.

About the role:

As an experienced People Change Manager, your primary responsibility will be to support and lead where necessary on people change initiatives. You will ensure the workforce is well-equipped to adopt new processes, facilitating smooth transitions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support on and lead where required on organisational change projects, from end-to-end consultation to implementation. Collectively develop strategies that align with business objectives and ensure successful project completion.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, senior leaders, and the wider People team on all HR, ER, and organisational change programmes.
  • Operate as a subject matter expert, providing support and coaching to HR Business Partners (HRBPs) and senior executives. Facilitate the transition of roles and responsibilities effectively.
  • Use tried and tested methodologies and tools to lead change management activities.
  • Identify, analyse, and prepare risk mitigation tactics to navigate challenges efficiently.
  • Support organisational design efforts, defining roles and responsibilities, and ensuring user readiness for new processes and structures.
  • Track and report on project progress and issues.

About you

This role has been created out of necessity and will see you fully absorbed in the business on commencement of the role. Therefore, we need somebody well accustomed to forging stakeholder relationships naturally and upholding excellent levels of communication. Your HR and particularly Employee Relations expertise will have seen you heavily involved with restructure, organisational design and managing change.

What's on offer?

Salary from £50k - £60k dependent on experience for this 6-month fixed term contract.

We do require somebody to be on site at Head Office in Mansfield 5 days per week, but do not foresee further travel.
