Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Central London
Hybrid: 2 days in the office 3 days WFH
Salary: £70,000 + shared company bonus + excellent benefits
An exciting opportunity has arisen working for a not-for-profit organisation. They are hoping to bring in a Head of Finance to join their finance team based in London. The main responsibility of the role is to control and manage the organisations finances.
This role requires someone who is hands on and happy to roll their sleeves up when required. At the same time, they will be included on the Senior Leadership team and will be expected to contribute to company strategy through providing analysis and commercial insight.
Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate financial services to the Institute and organisations within the group
- Help redefine how the finance department is seen as a valued partner on decision making rather than just a log for transactions
- Manage the performance of the Finance Assistant supporting their development
- Support annual business planning and ongoing budget management
- Create financial reports and status updates to provide accurate and timely financial and management information (including the monthly Management Information Suite) to directors
- Monitor revenue and expenditure results against forecast and prepare reports so that future income trends are accurately forecast and risks escalated to the CFO
- Work with the CFO to operate the management accounting systems and ensure the required standards and relevant regulations are followed
Experience and attributes required:
- Fully Qualified accountant - CIMA/ACCA/ACA - Essential
- Experience working with SAGE - Essential
- Previous experience in a similar role - Essential
- University degree - Essential
