Our client, a rapidly expanding company based on the Wirral are seeking an Operations Manager to join the team.
Job Description
- Responsible for the daily management and supervision of the dispatch operation
- Manage, support, and develop the team
- Ensuring the performance of the operations exceeds customer expectations inline with contracted KPI's
- Liaise, support and develop working relationships with internal and external customers
- Ensuring operational compliance is adhered to, including Health & Safety
- Manage the team, undertaking reviews, plan and arrange training and development of operational staff
- Compile and analyse operational and financial performance data
- Identifying service efficiencies and improvements
- Managing stock
The Successful Candidate
- Previous experience managing a team across different departments
- Experience with methods of continuous improvement and delivering process improvements
- Excellent knowledge of health and safety
- Budget management
- Ability to plan and organise effectively to meet deadlines
- Excellent communications skills both written and verbally
What's On Offer
- Salary: £38,000 - £ 45,000 DOE
- Hours: 8am – 6pm
- 25 Days + BH
