Job Title: Manufacturing Manager

Salary: £60,000-£65,000 per annum

A new role has opened up for a talented and ambitious Manufacturing Manager to join an industry leading manufacturing business.
The remit of this role lead from the front, ensuring your team and hitting existing and new KPI's that are implement through strategic thinking which will help to maximise productivity. You will need to ensure that all production in your team is completed in a timely manner to cope with customer demand.
You will need to coach and develop members of your team and also promote a continuous improvement culture to increase performance and drive down costs. As part of the role your team will need to comply with the company's health and safety and quality procedures and policies.
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in a Manufacturing Manager/Operations Manager role or similar in a manufacturing company.
- A strong character with excellent communication skills who can engage all stakeholder and network with external companies to implement best practices.
- Diploma or degree in mechanical and/or electronics engineering
- Proactive rather than reactive to resolve issues from arising.
- Strong understanding of Continuous Improvement and practices such as Six Sigma, 5S.
