A well-established company are seeking a ShippingAdministrator to join their team.

Your new role
As the Shipping Administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • Responsibility for & ownership of onward delivery processes
  • Ensuring deliveries are completed on time
  • Providing business updates on shipments to support revenue recognition
  • Managing supporting shipping and banking documentation
  • Managing Ad hoc shipments for manufacturing
  • Booking of deliveries according to customer & revenue requirements
  • Daily imports & management of import register
  • Updating weekly report on period's shipments
  • Letters of Credit management
  • Application of Chamber of Commerce documents
  • Manage OTC shipments
  • Preparation of the Norwood shipment consolidation
  • Ad hoc support to Dynamic Systems shipments

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful inapplying for the position of Shipping Administrator you will have thefollowing:

  • Understanding of product shipment procedures (import & Export) including awareness of incoterms
  • Knowledge of Letters of Credit (not essential but preferred).
  • Keenness tolearn and develop new skills
  • Sound analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.
  • A good demonstration of prioritisation within a multi-function role.
  • Strong communication skills, internally and externally, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial departments.
  • A high standard of computer literacy, including Excel/Word at an advanced level (V lookup's essential)
  • Finance and shipping experience ideally whilst dealing with global shipments by air and sea.
